Five reasons vouchers are wrong for Idaho

Private and religious schools may refuse students for any reason including race, religion, culture, or disability.

Private schools are not required to publicize their acceptance criteria. However, some private schools that receive public dollars through vouchers have explicitly stated they don't accept LGBTQ+ kids and others have systematically excluded students with disabilities.

Public schools are required to give every student an opportunity to learn and to achieve their dreams. And learning right alongside people with different backgrounds gives kids more understanding of their neighbors and makes them better community members.

Voucher programs create divisions in our communities by isolating students away from people who are different than they are.
